Marianne Malky

Marianne Malky

From her own experience of being a child abducted by a stranger when she was 17, Miss Malky is now able to educate children on how to get away from a predator.

Her first born son, David, was abducted in 1974 at the age of seven by her ex-husband. Even though Marianne searched for him every single day, it still took 31 years to finally find him again in December 2005. Through her ex-husband’s many changes of her son’s name and resident changes it is very difficult to locate a parentally abducted child.

Marianne now has 32 years experience in this field and has listened to over 2,000 cases regarding parental abduction.

Ms. Malky has made appearances on nationally televised shows, including Geraldo Rivera, Court TV with Johnny Cochran, and Miss Malky’s story was featured on Unsolved Mysteries.

Radio shows on which she has appeared include John Rothman, Michael Reagan, and numerous others.

Starting in 1983 until 2005 has had articles written about the issue of parental abduction appearing every year in newspapers throughout the United States and abroad.

She was instrumental in the introduction and passing of New Jersey’s missing person state clearing house and the passing of A2847 bill in New Jersey, upgrading parental abduction from a 4th degree crime to a 3rd degree crime.

Recently Marianne has produced her own DVD as a victim of parental abduction telling her story with other parents and children who also have been victimized by this horrible crime. It can be purchased from this site.

Marianne’s personal experience has compelled her to form Voice For The Children, Inc.
